Welcome to GlowCal (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our calendar enhancement service (“Service”) available at glowcal.io and its related subdomains.

By using GlowCal, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Service.

1. Use of Service

GlowCal allows users to connect their Google Calendar and enhance their events with emojis using AI. Access is granted via secure Google OAuth authentication.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use GlowCal only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.

We reserve the right to suspend, block, or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without refund, if we determine (at our sole discretion) that you are:

Misusing the platform
Attempting to exploit or overload the system
Abusing the free or paid plans
Violating any part of these Terms

2. Service Availability & Limitations

While we aim to keep GlowCal online and available, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

Maintenance or upgrades
Technical issues
API outages from third parties (e.g., Google, OpenAI, Stripe, Supabase)

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. If we decide to permanently shut down the platform, we will attempt to notify users in advance via email.

3. Subscription Plans & Payment

GlowCal offers two tiers:

Free Plan: Limited to 7 emoji enhancements per week
Pro Plan: $4/month, includes up to 100 emoji enhancements per week

Payments are handled securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings or by contacting us directly.

No refunds are issued for partial months or unused portions of the subscription.

4. AI-Powered Content

GlowCal uses OpenAI’s API to process and enhance your event titles with emojis. While we aim to make the results accurate and contextually appropriate:

You understand that the AI may occasionally produce unexpected or incorrect results.
We are not responsible for any outcomes resulting from AI-enhanced text.
We will continue to improve the quality of results but make no guarantees of accuracy or suitability.

5. Data & Privacy

We do not sell your personal data. However, by using the Service:

You agree to receive occasional emails from GlowCal about product updates, feature releases, or related services.
Your calendar event titles (not full details) are processed to generate emoji enhancements.
Your email and basic usage data are stored securely in Supabase.
Basic analytics may be captured via standard tools on our WordPress-hosted landing page.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, software code, and designs associated with GlowCal are the intellectual property of the creator unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the Service without explicit permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

GlowCal is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not make any warranties expressed or implied, about the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages (including indirect, incidental, or consequential damages) arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service, including any AI-generated content or calendar changes.

8. Termination

You may stop using GlowCal at any time. We reserve the right to terminate your access without prior notice if you violate these Terms or abuse the Service.

9. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the “Last Updated” date above and may notify users via email. Your continued use of GlowCal after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
